Dieline

A Dieline serves as a 2D template for how the final packaging is going to be creased and cut.

Diecut Tool

In the Diecut process we use a Diecut Tool that is responsible for cutting the paper in shape so a box can be formed. Each packaging requires a custom made tool for its size.

CMYK

While a monitor is using RGB as color model in the print world CMYK is used. CMYK is an subtractive color model that is used in printing. CMYK refers to four ink plates: cyan, magenta, yellow and key ( black ).

Vector Images

Vector images or graphics are images that are created from geometrical shapes and therefore can be scalable without any loss of quality.

Spot color printing

By adding additional colors in the printing process (e.g orange or purple ink) we can create even more colors that are hard to be achieved by CMYK alone. Also when using a single color it can be more cost effective to mix specifically just one color rather then using all 4 colors of CMYK.

Embossing and Debossing

Embossing and Debossing is a post process of print and packaging. With this process a specific part of the paper will have pressure applied and therefore create an effect by raising or sinking a specific part of the surface of the paper.
